Do Dah Day 2017

Hello, everyone! Murphy here! Tomorrow is one of my favorite days! Do Dah Day! I can’t wait.

It’s just the most fun event of the year. I get to hang out with all my friends and make new friends. Everyone is dressed in their Sunday best, and the people look nice too! There’s music to listen to, food to munch on, and friends to enjoy it with. Oh I just LOVE it!!

My favorite part is the parade. It’s basically like going on a walk with all your friends and we finally get to be the stars we are. I love being the center of attention!

But the best part is that all proceeds go to the Greater Birmingham Humane Society and Friends of Cats and Dogs. By hanging out with my friends at this event I get to help other dogs find great homes like the one I have. I should also mention that they help cats as well. It makes them even better people since they want to help cats and not just us lovable, furry, fun dogs!

The parade starts at 11:01 AM at Caldwell and Rhodes Park in Southside and festivities being at 12:01 PM! You can find more information at dodahday.org
