Sharpening Our Skills

Here at Interiorscapes, we are always learning, always growing, always trying to be the very best that we can be; in an effort to continue this tradition, we have started classes for our employees on different floral techniques.

Today’s class was on how to make buffet arrangements. Our resident expert, Pam Learnard, came to teach our ladies the different techniques of arranging “floral” and “filler” into amazing pieces of art.

We started with oasis, a florist’s best friend. We soaked the oasis over night and then shaped it to our vases. We secured the oasis with tape and then began the process of designing the arrangements.

There are many rules to follow when it comes to designing buffet arrangements, but the main thing to keep in mind is to be creative and to add lots of texture!
